Succeeding with the New Conditions of Participation for Home Health
with Sharon Harder, President, C3 Advisors, LLC and
Jill Dyer, BSN, RN, HCS-D, HCS-O, Home Health Consultant, J.I.D. Consulting & Coding
For the first time in roughly 20 years, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have issued dramatic changes to Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for home health agencies. The importance of these changes to your agency cannot be overemphasized. They alter the minimum standards your agency must meet to participate in Medicare and Medicaid. The changes were originally proposed in late 2014, but they are now final and will go into effect on January 13, 2018.
The new CoPs will affect all Medicare-certified home health agencies and will require specific changes of processes and personnel at your agency. To successfully implement the new CoPs, home health providers must develop a focused action plan now. Will your agency be ready?
Watch this free webinar — Succeeding with the New Conditions of Participation for Home Health — presented by executive management consultant Sharon S. Harder and home health clinical expert Jill Dyer. These two experts will explain what the new conditions mean for your agency and how you should prepare.

[Editor's Note: We previously stated that the new CoPs would take effect July 13, 2017. However, on March 31, CMS proposed delaying the effective date to January 13, 2018. For more information, read the official proposal in the Federal Register, linked here.]
