Webinar On-Demand

For the first time in roughly 20 years, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have issued dramatic changes to Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for home health agencies. The importance of these changes to your agency cannot be overemphasized. They alter the minimum standards your agency must meet to participate in Medicare and Medicaid. The changes were originally proposed in late 2014, but they are now final and will go into effect on January 13, 2018.

The new CoPs will affect all Medicare-certified home health agencies and will require specific changes of processes and personnel at your agency. To successfully implement the new CoPs, home health providers must develop a focused action plan now. Will your agency be ready?

Watch this free webinar — Succeeding with the New Conditions of Participation for Home Health — presented by executive management consultant Sharon S. Harder and home health clinical expert Jill Dyer. These two experts will explain what the new conditions mean for your agency and how you should prepare.

Attend to learn:

  • How the new CoPs will affect your agency’s complaint investigations, infection control processes, care planning, emergency preparedness, and more
  • Details of the requirement for a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program to evaluate and improve the care your agency provides to patients
  • How to develop your agency’s action plan for success

[Editor's Note: We previously stated that the new CoPs would take effect July 13, 2017. However, CMS has delayed the effective date to January 13, 2018.]
